Job summary

Universal Health Services in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to join a state‑of‑the‑art 144-bed behavioral health facility. You will lead the nursing team, provide direct care, and oversee patient care during your shift.

The role includes acting as on-site administrator during off-hours, coordinating admissions and discharges, responding to codes, and ensuring high quality care across shifts. Three 12-hour shifts weekly with alternating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• Current PA licensure is required.
• 1-3 years of nursing experience is required; 3-5 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, leadership, direction, and supervision for all nursing care on the shift.
• Serve as on-site administrator during off-hours (weekends, holidays, evenings and nights).
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, emergency code responses, and overall quality of care.
