Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital is seeking a Nursing Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care and supervise clinical and administrative activities on the unit. You will collaborate with the clinical team to implement care plans and coordinate unit operations to meet patient needs.

You will lead in the absence of administrative staff, ensure proper staffing and professional conduct, and guide discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years current nursing experience with minimum two (2) years leadership experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or a Compact license.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.

• Provide leadership in the absence of hospital and administrative staff.
• Ensure appropriate departmental staffing utilization.
• Maintain professional behavior among all staff.
• Coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
