Job summary

National Health Care Associates, an affiliate of Montowese Center for Health & Rehabilitation, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for evening shifts (3:30pm-11:30pm) at our North Haven, CT location. The role leads an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality across the facility.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license required.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure the health, comfort, and well-being of residents.
• Oversee facility operations, safety, cleanliness and compliance to nursing policies, procedures and regulations.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards.
• Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols.

What You'll Do:

As a Nursing Supervisor, you will lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include oversight of the facility operations, safety, cleanliness and compliance to nursing policies, procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
• Overseeing daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
• Providing mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
