Job summary

National Health Care Associates is seeking a Nursing Supervisor in Bloomfield, CT. You will lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure residents’ health, comfort and well‑being.

The role includes oversight of operations, safety and regulatory compliance. You’ll supervise nursing staff, coordinate daily staffing, develop care plans, mentor team members, and ensure policy adherence in a dynamic long‑term care setting.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license is required to practice.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in long‑term care preferred.
• Advanced degree or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality resident care.
• Lead facility operations, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement care plans with the team.

RN Supervisor-Every Other Weekend-12 Hour Shifts- 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM

What You'll Do:

As a Nursing Supervisor, you will lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure the health, comfort, and overall well‑being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include oversight of the facility operations, safety, cleanliness and compliance to nursing policies, procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure high‑quality care delivery
• Overseeing daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
• Providing mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols

Qualifications of a Nursing Supervisor include:

• Valid state nursing license
• Advanced degree or certification preferred
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long‑Term Care setting preferred

• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision‑making skills
