The Colorado Mental Health Institute is seeking a Nurse Manager to provide leadership and ensure quality patient care. This full-time role involves supervising staff, managing emergency responses, and maintaining documentation. A valid RN license and significant experience are required, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.
This position has a residency waiver and will be accepting applications from residents and non-residents of Colorado. It is open to all legal residents of the United States. Applicants from outside Colorado must relocate at their own expense prior to their start date if appointed.

The Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan (CMHIFL) is one of two state hospitals serving our community. Our vision is to provide the highest quality mental health services to individuals with complex, serious, and persistent mental illness within available resources. Our mission is to support individuals in achieving recovery and reaching their full potential. CMHIFL offers inpatient treatment for adults aged 18-59, with 138 beds and over six treatment milieus serving both civil and forensic patients. We provide medical services, occupational therapy, neuropsychological rehabilitation, and trauma-informed care.

Full-Time, On-Site | Shift - B (1800-0630)
This role provides supervision, clinical and administrative nursing consultation, and leadership to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining safe staffing, serving as a resource, and collaborating with staff and other departments. The nurse manager will also oversee emergency response, staff development, quality monitoring, documentation, and competency maintenance.
Current, valid Colorado RN license or license from a participating state in the eNLC. At least three years of relevant professional experience. Education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
