Position Details:

Full-Time, On-Site | Shift - B (1800-0630)

This role provides supervision, clinical and administrative nursing consultation, and leadership to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining safe staffing, serving as a resource, and collaborating with staff and other departments. The nurse manager will also oversee emergency response, staff development, quality monitoring, documentation, and competency maintenance.

Primary Job Duties:

1. Supervision and Coordination: Oversee patient care, direct staff, and ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
2. Staff Supervision and Development: Support staff training, conduct performance evaluations, and participate in hiring processes.
3. Emergency Leadership: Lead in crises, respond to emergencies, and manage incident communication.
4. Quality Monitoring: Ensure care quality aligns with standards and conduct audits.
5. Documentation: Complete incident reports, transcribe orders, and maintain accurate records.
6. Skills Maintenance: Keep skills current through ongoing education and supervision.
7. Other Duties: Cover shifts as needed and perform additional tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current, valid Colorado RN license or license from a participating state in the eNLC. At least three years of relevant professional experience. Education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living
• Supervisory experience
• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
• Leadership qualities: caring, supportive, accountable
• Teamwork and problem-solving skills
