This position has a residency waiver and will be accepting applications from residents and non-residents of Colorado. This announcement is open to potential candidates who are legal residents of the United States. All legal residents of the United States are eligible to apply and compete. The vision of CMHIFL is to provide the highest quality mental health services to persons with complex, serious, and persistent mental illness within the resources available. Our mission is to support those individuals in achieving their recovery goals and reaching their full potential. CMHIFL provides inpatient treatment to adult patients, generally between 18-59. The hospital currently has 138 adult inpatient beds, and over six treatment milieus serving civil and forensic individuals. Medical services, occupational therapy, neuropsychological-rehabilitation services, and trauma-informed care services are available for all patients throughout the hospital.

G-Wing Unit This position exists to provide supervision, clinical/administrative nursing consultation, and direction to registered nurses and nursing assistive personnel on the assigned shift to assure the delivery of quality patient care through the nursing process per the nursing and hospital-wide standards. Responsible for maintaining safe, adequate coverage for the inpatient units on the assigned shift. Serves as a resource or guide by advising others on how to use processes within a system or as a member of a collaborative problem-solving team.

Education/Licensure/Certification/Experience:
Current, valid licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Colorado Board of Nursing or any state participating in the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) Three (3) years of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position
Substitutions
Appropriate education will substitute for up to two (2) years of the required experience on a year-for-year basis
Special Qualification:Experience as a supervisor
Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities;
Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses.
Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing assignments;
Caring, supportive, accountable leader;
Willing to work on an interdisciplinary team and problem-solve solutions to improve services.
