Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking an Evening Nursing Supervisor/Manager for a 3pm–11pm (Mon-Fri) shift in Everett, MA. The role oversees clinical and staff activities to ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with nursing standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN or LPN program, 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in long-term or sub-acute care, and current MA RN or LPN licensure with annual CEU and CPR/IV therapy certifications.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience with one year in long term or sub-acute care.
• Current MA State RN or LPN license with annual relicensure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the resource to staff in clinical and managerial decision making.
• Participate in inspections by authorized agencies.
• Assess residents and validate nursing staff decisions.
• Develop, implement, and communicate resident plans of care.
• Make rounds to ensure nursing standards and resident needs are met.
• Monitor documentation procedures and report issues to the Director of Nursing.
• Schedule tasks and coordinate with interdepartmental staff.
• Ensure disciplinary actions are fair and compliant with policies.

Educational Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited RN or LPN program required.

Experience Required:

Three years of experience with one year of long term or sub-acute care experience required. One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Professional Licensure and Certification Required:

Current MA State RN or LPN. Responsible for annual re-licensure per regulations. Compliance with yearly CEU requirements. Current CPR, Accu-Chek and IV Therapy certification.

Administrative Functions

• 1.Serves as the resource to staff in clinical and managerial decision making, delegates responsibilities to staff.
• 2.Participates in inspections (surveys) made by authorized agencies.
• 3.Participates in and assures appropriate assessment of residents, validates nursing staff’s clinical decisions.
• 4.Participates in the development, implementation, and communication of resident’s plan of care.
• 5.Making frequent rounds on nursing unit(s) to ensure that all personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with established nursing standards, and that all resident’s needs are being met
• 6.Monitors documentation procedures of nursing staff. Follows- up on problem areas with employees and makes oral/written reports to the Director of Nursing

Personnel Functions

• 1.Follows work assignments, and schedules to complete assigned tasks.
• 2.Cooperates with interdepartmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to assure that services are properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
• 3.Meets with staff on regularly scheduled basis to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/ or improvement services.
• 4.Functions in the role of staff nurse or provides direct care to meet the needs of the residents as needed/ required.
• 5.Ensures that disciplinary action is administered fairly and without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or marital status.
