Job summary

Cedars-Sinai seeks a House Supervisor to monitor, coordinate, and supervise daily operations, acting as a resource for the team to maintain best-practice workflows.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, scheduling shifts, and collaborating with departments to improve interdisciplinary care while ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff. This role emphasizes leadership and problem-solving across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.
• Current BLS and/or ACLS certifications.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Three+ years of RN experience.
• 1+ years in managerial/supervisory role is preferred.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships to enhance communication and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing staff, schedules shifts and day-to-day duties on behalf of nursing leadership.
• Performs administrative duties including scheduling nursing shifts.
• Collaborates with other departments to achieve interdisciplinary improvements.
• Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients through safety program participation.
• Identifies and addresses patient concerns to ensure quality care.
• Collaborates to problem-solve and make decisions to achieve outcomes.
• Establishes effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
