Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 24 months of date of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years direct-care experience.
• Current clinical competence, with evidence of ongoing continuing education.
• Progressive healthcare experience including supervisory experience.
• Basic computer competence.
• Demonstrated competence as a leader.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (maintain current at all times)

Responsibilities

• Provides shift leadership for nursing staff to ensure clinical excellence.
• Coaches and mentors staff; ensures adherence to nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Investigation and resolution of patient, visitor, staff, and physician concerns with timely action.
• Oversees staffing, throughput, and patient placement to meet performance targets.
• Promotes interdepartmental collaboration and effective communication across the Patient Services Division.
