Birchaven Village is seeking a RN Nursing Supervisor to assist in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services in a skilled facility setting. You will liaison between staff, residents, and families while upholding professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring resident status, assisting in admissions, evaluating staff performance, and ensuring infection control and medication procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in Ohio.
• Strong leadership and ability to teach colleagues and residents.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to apply growth and development concepts to patient care.
• Ability to assess patient data and respond to changing needs.
• Follows policies and regulatory procedures.

Responsabilités

• Identify and support LPN/RN staff in monitoring high-risk residents and communicate with families and physicians.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges and complete related paperwork.
• Provide follow-up on performance issues in collaboration with Nursing leadership.
• Monitor staffing levels and workload to maintain quality care.
• Evaluate nursing staff performance and conduct shift-based evaluations.
• Investigate incidents and follow proper reporting procedures.
• Prepare census reports and nursing communication documentation for oncoming staff.
• Assist with sterile procedures, specimen collection, and orders as required.
• Ensure compliance with medication administration, storage, and infection control policies.
• Review complaints and report actions taken to Nursing leadership.
• Promote service excellence and align with mission and values.
