Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for Employee Health to lead clinical and administrative operations. This role provides oversight, guidance, and coordination with the director to ensure efficient department workflow and high-quality employee health services.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in ambulatory care nursing, active PA RN license with BLS, and a BSN preferred. This position is on-site and involves collaboration with hospital leadership and system-wide committees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Ambulatory Care Nursing experience.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license and Provider BLS required.
• Certification in a relevant clinical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative oversight as an extension of the patient care team.
• Coordinate daily operation of the Employee Health department and supervise orientation and staff education.
• Assist as a facilitator in shared decision-making at the clinical, departmental, and system levels.
• Communicate with the director and serve as a consult in various situations.

The Nursing Supervisor, Employee Health is a Registered Nurse who provides clinical and administrative oversight as an extension of the patient care team and serves as a clinical resource to Employee Health staff. The Nursing Supervisor, Employee Health role functions in accordance with professional practice standards as set forth by the American Nurses Association, PA Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards and MLH policies and procedures. The Nursing Supervisor, Employee Health works in conjunction with the director to develop and monitor Employee Health workflow, assignments, clinical practice and productivity. The Nursing Supervisor, Employee Health maintains a modified practice assignment to maintain clinical expertise and knowledge.The Nursing Supervisor, Employee Health works to coordinate the daily operation of the department and is in ongoing communication with the director as a consult when situations occur. The Nursing Supervisor, Employee Health oversees new employee orientation and on-going staff education. The supervisor reports to the director and assists as a facilitator in shared decision-making initiatives at the clinical, departmental, and system levels. This position requires strong skills with Microsoft Excel, prioritization and the ability to be flexible adaptable.

Position:

Nursing Supervisor, Employee Health

Shift:

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Mondays through Fridays. Hours of operation are 7:30AM to 6PM so there is flexibility.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 year(s) of recent Ambulatory Care Nursing experience, required.

Education:

1. RN Diploma, ASN required.

2. BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

1. PA RN license.

2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.

3. Certification preferred in relevant clinical field
