Job summary

The Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services seeks a Nursing Supervisor (Day Shift) - Registered Nurse at the Arizona State Veterans' Home in Phoenix. This role coordinates treatment, wound assessments, and care plans to ensure high-quality outcomes for veterans.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in Arizona with current RN license.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.
• Ability to develop and implement treatment plans and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on shift and ensure quality of care.
• Counsel staff and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
• Oversee admissions/discharges and rounds to assure adequacy of care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance audits and AMS initiatives.
