Job summary

The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ seeks a Full-Time Registered Nurse - Nursing Supervisor to lead the Assisted Living nursing team. You will supervise, plan, and direct daily nursing activities, ensuring 24-hour coverage and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities include staffing, policy implementation, care planning support, incident investigations, and maintaining electronic charting. Strong leadership and crisis management are essential; weekend coverage is required.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid New Jersey state Registered Nursing license.
Minimum 2 years experience as a Nursing Supervisor in an assisted living facility.
Experience in a long term care facility or related health care facility.
Ability to pass the facility’s physical examination and work beyond normal hours.

Responsibilities

Direct day-to-day functions of the Assisted Living nursing department in compliance with rules and regulations.
Staff facility with LPNs, RNs, CNAs, and HHAs; including scheduling and payroll.
Develop, revise, and implement nursing policies and procedures; complete forms and audits.
Assist in care planning, arrange and document MDS 3.0 forms where needed.
Investigate incidents; manage call alerts and ensure timely response by staff.
Participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary processes as needed.
Maintain electronic charting accuracy and unit coverage as required.
May float to other units to cover as Nursing Supervisor on duty.
