Job summary

Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond in St. James, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as RN Supervisor in a temporary role for approximately 4–8 weeks. Afterward, there may be Per Diem opportunities.

The RN Supervisor will schedule and assign nursing staff, foster a compassionate environment for residents and families, ensure documentation and confidentiality, and maintain a safe, compliant care setting in collaboration with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license.
• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience.
• Strong and positive team director for all staff.
• Familiar with Point Click Care EMR.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

RN Nursing Supervisor

Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work as an RN Supervisor at our skilled nursing facility in St. James, NY.

This position is temporary and begins in/around September/October for approx. 4-8 weeks. After this time the candidate may remain with the facility on a Per Diem basis.

DUTIES:

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor, complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.
• Responsibility of the Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor is to establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families.
• Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain a safe & clean working environment by implementing rules & regulations.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Maintain documentation of resident care services.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required.
