Job summary

Paylocity's Cowlitz Family Health Center seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead a nursing team, mentor staff, and uphold clinical practice standards in outpatient care. You will partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve workflows, support population health initiatives, and ensure care is delivered at the top of licensure.

This full-time role includes hands-on coaching, potential direct patient care, and travel between CFHC locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington state.
• BSN preferred; related education/experience may be considered.
• Minimum of five years of professional nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with quality improvement or population health initiatives.
• Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center or community health setting preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive health, chronic disease management, and care coordination.

As a Nursing Supervisor at Cowlitz Family Health Center, you’ll lead and mentor a talented nursing team, help keep daily operations moving, champion great clinical practices, and work alongside clinical and operational leaders to make a real difference in the care our patients receive.

The Nursing Supervisor works closely with clinical, quality, and operational leadership to strengthen nursing practice, improve workflows, support population health and care management initiatives, and ensure nursing staff are working at the top of their licensure. The position provides hands‑on coaching and clinical guidance to nursing staff and may provide direct patient care or nursing coverage as operational needs require.

Wage Range: $93,808.00 - $101,020.96 Per Year

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

FTE: 1.0

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington.


• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; equivalent combination of nursing education and relevant experience may be considered.


• Minimum of five years of professional nursing experience, preferably in outpatient primary care, community health, population health, or a related healthcare setting.


• Current BLS/CPR Card


• Previous nursing leadership, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred.


• Experience with quality assurance, quality management, quality improvement, care management, or population health initiatives preferred.


• Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center, community health center, or community‑based nonprofit healthcare organization preferred.


• Knowledge of evidence‑based preventive health, chronic disease management, care coordination, transitions of care, and primary care nursing.


• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, coaching, and guidance to nursing and clinical support staff.


• Strong organizational, communication, problem‑solving, documentation, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, staffing needs, and operational demands across multiple locations or programs.


• Experience utilizing electronic medical records and clinical data to support patient care, population health, workflow management, and performance improvement.


• Ability to work effectively and respectfully with patients and staff from diverse backgrounds and circumstances.


• Must be confident, self‑directed, collaborative, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.


• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between CFHC locations as needed
