Join our team as a Nursing Station Technician at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital! Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, we deliver a broad range of pediatric programs from surgery, imaging, neonatal and pediatric intensive care to cardiac and oncology (cancer care) services and blood and marrow and organ transplantation. The starting base rate of pay for the Nursing Station Technician is $23.40. Candidates with experience may be brought in at a higher rate of pay.
This position will be working 64 hours every two weeks on the Evening shift, 8-hour shifts.
The Nursing Station Technician is a hybrid position consisting of both Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator roles to deliver direct patient care and administrative duties.
In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to demonstrate excellent customer service, collaboration, and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fast-paced unit. Other job duties include:
License/Certification/Registration
Minimum requirements: 6 months experience as NST or Nursing Support, with pediatric hospital experience preferred.
