Join our team as a Nursing Station Technician at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital! Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, we deliver a broad range of pediatric programs, including surgery, imaging, neonatal and pediatric intensive care, cardiac and oncology services, blood and marrow, and organ transplantation. The starting base rate of pay for the Nursing Station Technician is $23.40. Candidates with experience may be hired at a higher rate of pay.
This position will work 48 hours every two weeks on the Day/Evening shift, with 8-hour shifts and every other weekend.
The Nursing Station Technician is a hybrid role, combining Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator duties to provide direct patient care and administrative support.
In this role, you will work under the supervision of a professional nurse, demonstrating excellent customer service, collaboration, and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:
License/Certification/Registration
Preferred: At least 6 months of nursing support or NST experience in pediatrics.
