Fairview Health Services is hiring a Nursing Station Technician for the Cardiac/Respiratory IMC at the University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank in Minneapolis, MN. The role combines Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator duties on a fast-paced 22-bed unit.
You will work under a licensed nurse, perform patient care tasks, manage admissions/discharges, transcribe orders, and help maintain rooms and supplies on an 8-hour day shift with every-other-weekend rotation.
This position is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 week pay period). This position works 8 hour shifts, every other weekend rotation, on the day shift.
Fairview is hiring a Nursing Station Technician for the Cardiac/Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN.
The Cardiac/Respiratory IMC is a dynamic and fast-paced, 22 bed unit. As a Nursing Station Technician, you will join our interdisciplinary team in delivering care to patients 18 years and older with moderate to severe physiologic instability and a wide range of diagnoses.
The Nursing Station Technician is a hybrid position consisting of both Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator roles to deliver direct patient care and administrative duties.
In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to demonstrate excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fasted paced unit. Other job duties include:
