Job summary

River Grove Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The Staff Scheduler will assist with nursing department scheduling under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and collaborate with nursing supervisors on shift needs.

Responsibilities include creating weekly schedules, communicating changes, coordinating overtime, and assisting payroll with nursing hours. Previous long-term care experience is preferred; CNA, Med Tech, or nursing license required.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA, Med Tech, or nursing license.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all nursing staff and prepares weekly nursing schedule.
• Notifies staff of schedule and necessary schedule changes.
• Receives incoming calls and directs them to address scheduling issues.
• Notifies Nursing Administration of insufficient staff or conflicts.
• Obtains permission before scheduling overtime or registry personnel.
• Adjusts schedules to accommodate illness, vacation, or PTO.
• Collaborates with Nursing Administration to allocate staff.
• Assists nursing office with clinical management tasks.
• Assists payroll manager with processing of weekly payroll.
