Job summary

Hartford Nursing and Rehab Center in Detroit, MI is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to schedule nursing staff and ensure state mandated staffing ratios are met, while providing essential clerical support to Nursing Management.

Qualifications

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years office administrative experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
Computer skills are required.
Meets state and federal criminal background check requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepares schedule for the nursing department by scheduling all RN/LPN and CNAs to ensure mandated staffing ratios are maintained.
Monitor overtime and make daily staffing adjustments according to census needs.
Maintain daily roster sheets for each shift.
Daily review of previous day’s time clock punches with schedules.
Retrieve, organize and store all staffing related forms (sign-in sheets, assignment sheets, schedules, etc).
Complete weekly schedule report and provide to corporate.
Completes daily staffing and posts as required.
Attend and participate in facility meetings, as assigned.
