Qualifications

• MSN degree from an accredited university.
• Unencumbered RN licensure in Virginia or multi-state with Virginia eligibility.
• Minimum of one year of clinical teaching experience.
• Experience or certification in healthcare simulation education (CHSE/CHSOs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, reset and manage simulated experiences and debriefings.
• Conduct ongoing simulation evaluation and report compilation.
• Collaborate with BSN faculty on simulation design and implementation.
• Oversee open lab sessions and provide instruction to BSN students.
• Coordinate lab scheduling and manage the lab calendar.
• Train and retain standardized patients in collaboration with campus partners.
• Maintain instructor certification and provide student trainings as needed.
