Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University seeks an experienced nursing educator to plan, implement, and evaluate simulation-based learning for undergraduate and graduate programs. You will collaborate with faculty, nursing colleagues, and interprofessional teams to foster critical thinking in the lab and simulation environments.

The role requires a Master’s in nursing, current PA RN license, and licensure in states where clinical assignments occur; CHSE is preferred but not required with certification within

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution required.
• Evidence of continuing education; Professional memberships relevant to areas of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Works with Simulation Coordinators and Director to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing learning labs and simulations for undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Assists with maintenance and operation of lab and simulation equipment.
• Position primarily located at the College’s Center City Campus in Philadelphia, PA; travel to Dixon Campus in Horsham, PA as needed.
• Demonstrates skill as a clinical practitioner in a lab and simulation setting.
• Participates in professional activities related to simulation.
• Participates in College and University activities through the academic year.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in line with Enterprise core values.
