Job summary

Arrowhead Senior Living seeks a capable Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing day-to-day nursing operations in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will participate in policy implementation, staff supervision, and collaboration with administrators to maintain safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, implementing and directing day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with applicable standards.
• Comply with Facility policies, safety rules and nursing department procedures.
• Report resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator/DON.
• Complete in-service training assignments on time.
• Attend and participate in facility surveys and committees as directed.
• Develop and implement discharge plans and necessary documentation.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality nursing care and performance.
• Assist with staff evaluations and disciplinary actions when directed.
