Job summary

HCA Healthcare's TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN, seeks an Administrative Assistant in Nursing Services to support the inpatient scheduling and related systems. This PRN role ensures smooth staffing and payroll processes for the nursing units.

You will work across Med/Surg units as needed, promote teamwork, and help implement policies to maximize system utilization in line with Horizon's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing systems and large databases preferred.
• Experience creating schedules to meet unit needs preferred.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain use of the scheduling system.
• Understand scheduling and staffing management and hospital operations.
• Assist in developing system policies for maximum utilization.
• Handle payroll processes for Inpatient Nursing units.
• Serve as Unit Assistant on the Med/Surg units as needed.
• Foster teamwork aligned with Horizon's mission and values.
