Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Research Leader to guide the development and implementation of nursing and professional research programs, disseminate findings, and promote evidence-based practice across Advocate Health.

The role provides leadership for site Nursing Research Councils and collaborates with the Development Office to secure funding for research initiatives and professional development. Strong experience with IRB and research management is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated track record in managing research projects.
• 1-3 years experience working with IRB.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction for the development and implementation of the nursing and professional research programs, the dissemination of research findings, and scholarly activities.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and research findings to advance nursing excellence; serves as a resource for research/PI in practice.
• Leads site Nursing Research Councils and participates in system-wide nursing research activities (e.g., Nursing Research Symposium/Committee).
• Collaborates with Development Office/Foundation to pursue fundraising opportunities for research and professional development.
