Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a physician-scientist or research-focused professional to lead and execute clinical research projects in collaboration with the Research Director and scientists. The role covers protocol design, study implementation, data analysis, grant writing, and dissemination at meetings.

The candidate will write manuscripts, prepare abstracts for conferences, organize work according to study priorities, and contribute to training and dissemination efforts across the research

Qualifications

• PhD/MD/DM.D or equivalent required with at least 1 year of research experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, and implements clinical research projects with the Research Director and scientists.
• Performs protocol design, study implementation, data analysis and interpretation, grant writing, teaching, publication and meetings presentations.
• Writes manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and prepares abstracts for local, national, and international meetings.
• Organizes work according to research priorities to complete procedures on time.
• Contributes to newsletters, tip cards, skill packs, trainings, and dissemination.
• Leads grant applications and intramural funding processes.
• Assists in training staff, clinical fellows, and residents.
• Develops research databases, monitors data quality, and performs statistical analyses and interpretation.
