Job summary

Summit BHC's Twin Lakes Recovery Center in Monroe, GA seeks a Director of Nursing to lead nursing practice and operations. You will supervise staff, oversee medication management, ensure regulatory compliance and drive quality of care for behavioral health clients.

The role requires an RN license, a Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred for psychiatric/mental health), and several years of nursing and behavioral health leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.
• Three or more years of nursing practice experience.
• One or more years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience.
• Current RN license in state or compact state; CPR and de-escalation training as required.

Responsibilities

• Sets the vision for nursing practice and directs daily operations.
• Oversees medication management and safety compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and budgeting within approved resources.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and leadership.
• Prepares for inspections and ensures regulatory compliance.
