Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards; may supervise CNAs as directed.
• Provide personal hygiene support: bedpans, urinals, baths, back rubs, shampoos, shaves; assist with bathroom travel; help with showers and baths.
• Assist with activities of daily living: serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output.
