University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Nursing Project Manager to lead clinical projects with a strong project and change management focus. The role combines clinical insight with structured planning, milestone tracking, risk management and proactive stakeholder communication.

The position is part-time (20 hours biweekly) at UVMMC in South Burlington, with grant-funded status and cross-department collaboration across the care coordination system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred; PMP or equivalent certification preferred or active pursuit.
• Three to five years of varied clinical experience with healthcare management experience.
• Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating performance improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute multiple clinical projects to meet organizational objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage project milestones and timelines.
• Utilize structured methodologies to manage risks, budgets, and resources.
• Communicate progress and challenges regularly to sponsors and stakeholders.
