Job summary

WellSpace Health in Citrus Heights, CA seeks a Manager of Nursing Programs (RN) to provide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership for nursing services. This role partners in a dyad with the Clinical Director to shape quality, workflow, and staffing decisions while overseeing performance and resource utilization.

You will lead QA/QI initiatives, ensure regulatory readiness, and maintain direct and indirect patient care duties alongside the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license and BLS certification.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership/ supervisory role.
• Ability to use data and reporting tools to monitor quality, productivity, patient outcomes, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership for nursing programs and services.
• Partner in a dyad with the Clinical Director on quality, workflow, and staffing decisions.
• Oversee staffing, workflow optimization, performance management, employee development, and resource utilization.
• Lead QA/QI initiatives and maintain regulatory and Joint Commission readiness.
• Assign triage categories accurately and oversee medication administration and refill protocols.
• Serve as liaison among providers, pharmacies, patients, and families.
• Carry a direct and indirect patient care load alongside the nursing team.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff as a role model and advocate for nursing excellence.
