Job summary

Georgia Highlands College is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at the Floyd Campus to provide administrative direction and support the operational needs of the Department of Nursing. You will work with the Director of Nursing to ensure curricula align with USG, SACSCOC, ACEN, and GBON guidelines and lead faculty development and scheduling.

The role includes teaching nine credit hours annually, monitoring faculty workloads, and collaborating with clinical partners to meet program

Qualifications

• Earned graduate degree in nursing.
• Administrative experience of 3–5 years.
• Un-encumbered RN license and Georgia eligibility.
• Valid driver\'s license required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with DON to oversee curriculum development and accreditation.
• Plans and leads nursing department meetings.
• Recruits, hires, and evaluates full- and part-time faculty and staff.
• Coordinates clinical observations and faculty workload.
• Promotes student success and handles complaints.
• Serves on college committees.
