Job summary

River Falls Post Acute in Marietta, SC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON, RN) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high-quality resident care.

This leadership role manages nursing staff, maintains regulatory compliance, supports quality improvement, and fosters teamwork and accountability within a close-knit SC facility.

Qualifications

• Current, active SC RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred; 3-5 years nurse management experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, survey readiness, and clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and supervising nursing services.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of nursing staff.
• Assist with employee coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action processes.
• Serve as a clinical resource and provide leadership to licensed nurses and nursing assistants.
• Act as a backup to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Conduct daily rounds and monitor resident conditions and care delivery.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.
