Responsible for the program's master plan of education, including development, implementation, evaluation and revision of plan. Incorporates participation of all faculty members in this process.

Essential Functions
-Coordinate the development, implementation, and revision process for the program’s curriculum design.
-Assist in the development of policies for student selection.
-Prepare and maintain the program budget within established parameters as needed for the program.
-Oversee the evaluation, maintenance, selection, and purchase of educational materials and equipment to meet the needs of the program.
-Lead nursing faculty meetings to meet the needs of students and program management.
-Assist in the process of interviewing, selecting and mentoring faculty.
Qualifications Education Master's Degree Nursing required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Clinical Nurse Specialist [Psychiatric PCNS - Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Board of Nursing preferred Experience Experience in Nursing 5-7 years required and Senior-level nursing leadership experience 8-10+ years required and Leadership experience within a large system and academic environment 3-5 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Advanced knowledge in nursing principles, managed care, critical care, and administration. - Demonstrated leadership, managerial ability, good interpersonal relationships, and the application of sound administrative principles. - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work. - Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with and handle difficult situations involving leaders, physicians, employees, and patients in a professional manner. - Strong business and financial acumen, with knowledge of resource management methods and processes, enabling the ability to formulate, justify, and maintain a budget.
