Job summary

South College Knoxville is seeking an ASN Program Coordinator to join the Nursing Team. The ASN Program Coordinator supervises all aspects of the ASN program alongside the current coordinator, including organization, administration, compliance, development, implementation and overall effectiveness of the program.

This is a full-time, on-site role reporting to the Associate Dean of Nursing and Assistant Dean of Nursing in Knoxville, TN. Remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• MSN degree or higher required.
• Unrestricted RN license in Tennessee or eNLC states.
• Experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
• Proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning.

Responsibilities

• Teach in assigned area.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve instruction quality and plans.
• Carry out faculty training and development.

ASN Nursing Program Coordinator Description

South College Knoxville is seeking an ASN Program Coordinator to join the Nursing Team! The ASN Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program alongside the current ASN Program Coordinator, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, compliance, development, implementation, and general effectiveness of the program.

This is a full-time position that reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing and Assistant Dean of Nursing. The successful candidate will report on-site in Knoxville, TN. This position is not eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Teach in his/her assigned area
• Work with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction, plans, implements
• Carry out faculty training and development.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess effective interpersonal and written communication skills and meet the required qualifications below:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher
• Hold an unrestricted RN license to practice in Tennessee or in one of the eNLC compact states.
• Experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
• Preferred - Proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning.
