Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Nursing to teach in our BSN program on campus, with potential hybrid/online components.

The faculty member will educate students through classroom, clinical, simulation, skills lab, and online teaching; advise students; assist in clinical coordination; and participate in scholarly development and committee work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master of Science in Nursing and an active Oklahoma nursing license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Demonstrated strong teaching skills at undergraduate level in classroom and clinical settings.
• Clear and effective communication abilities.
• Proficiency with online education software and with AV equipment.
• Ability to assess student learning and advise students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses and clinicals in the BSN program.
• Plan learning activities aligned with course objectives and learning guides.
• Develop tests and evaluate student mastery of content.
• Manage courses in Canvas and update syllabi.
• Coordinate clinical experiences and supervise skills labs and simulations.
• Advise students on enrollment and progression through the program.
