Job summary

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City is seeking a nursing faculty member to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, in both online and onsite settings, and to supervise clinical laboratories. The position involves collaborating with the team leader and other faculty to support student learning and ensure high-quality nursing education.

Candidates must hold a valid Oklahoma RN license and have at least two years of clinical RN experience, with teaching experience preferred; salary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with evidence of at least six hours per semester towards Master’s degree required.
• Two years full-time equivalent RN experience in a clinical setting prior to first nursing faculty employment.
• Qualified to teach and lead in an academic discipline and/or degree program.
• Minimum of one year of college-level teaching experience preferred.
• Valid, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Nurse Science core courses with a required clinical component, including evenings or weekends.
• Collaborate with team to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
• Prepare learning activities (online and onsite), classroom presentations, and develop tests covering objectives.
• Assess student learning, provide feedback, and maintain student/course records.
• Schedule and post office hours; contribute to curriculum evaluation and revision.
