Georgia Gwinnett College in Georgia seeks an Associate Professor or Professor of Nursing for Fall 2027 to teach class and clinical courses, foster student engagement, and contribute to scholarship and service.

This 10-month appointment, within the School of Health Sciences, reports to the Department Chair of Nursing. The college emphasizes collaboration with clinical partners and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Doctoral degree in nursing or related field or Master of Nursing degree.
• Minimum of 3 years direct patient care and clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse.
• Current unrestricted license as a registered nurse in Georgia or eligibility to obtain Georgia license.
• Registered Professional Nurse License.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Ability to develop, implement and evaluate teaching plans for classroom and clinical settings.
• Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be collegial with faculty, staff, and students.
• Must meet eligibility criteria for the rank of Associate or Full Professor

Responsabilidades

• Effectively teach and evaluate nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings
• Collaborate with other nursing faculty and clinical partners to ensure student learning and program outcomes are met
• Advise/mentor students as assigned by school
• Teach in simulation and clinical practice laboratories as assigned
