Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a qualified PICU RN for a 26-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ.

The shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week with potential extension. Pay rate is $68–$73 per hour. Must have Arizona RN license or compact state, BLS, PALS, and 2+ years of pediatric CVICU experience; a BSN/ADN or Diploma in nursing is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current ARIZONA RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification required; PALS certification required; NRP preferred.
• Two+ years of pediatric CVICU RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare team, patient and family to deliver nursing care.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care as per plans of care.
• Adhere to nursing standards, hospital goals and regulatory requirements.
• Float between NICU and PICU as needed.
• Work day and/or night shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) as scheduled.

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PICU for a temporary assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PICU:

• Work in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care
• Provide nursing care appropriate to patients' age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care
• Adhere to evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards, hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards
• Float between NICU and PICU as required by the assignment
• Work day and/or night shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a) as determined during the interview
• Maintain current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges
• Maintain current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association
• Maintain current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• Maintain current NRP certification (preferred)
• Comply with flu vaccination requirements from October through April or sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreement and mask during the full respiratory virus season
• Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in pediatric CVICU
• Hold a two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year (BSN) degree in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree
