Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a Nursing Professional Development Specialist to lead the education and evaluation of nursing staff in PACU & Rad Holding. You will partner with clinical leaders to tailor learning plans, promote competency, and align programs with regulatory standards and best practices.

The role requires a BSN and a MSN or related field, MA RN licensure, and at least 5 years of clinical nursing experience. BCLS/ACLS strongly desired; ANCC certification preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate program and a Master’s degree program (one in nursing) required.
Massachusetts RN licensure required.
BCLS/ACLS instructor certification highly desired; ANCC certification strongly desired.
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible nursing practice.

Responsibilities

Identify educational needs with stakeholders and prioritize by environment.
Develop outcomes and evidence-based curricula with stakeholders.
Apply adult learning principles to content design and delivery.
Coordinate interprofessional continuing education initiatives.
Evaluate learning outcomes and update plans accordingly.
