Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing seeks a PCU traveler to join a 13-week assignment in Warwick, RI. The role requires current RN licensure, BSN preferred, and on-site availability for a 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM shift.

You will complete onboarding exams, maintain immunizations, pass background checks, and coordinate with credentialing. Competitive hourly pay of $68–$74 plus benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing required
• BSN degree preferred for PCU role
• Maintain up-to-date immunizations (COVID, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap)
• Complete CNE exams and assignments during onboarding
• Background check and health/documentation compliance required
• Valid Driver's License or State ID required

Responsibilities

• Maintain current state licensure verified through Nursys and license verification
• Complete onboarding exams (CNE skills, specialty, EKG, pharmacology, core competencies)
• Complete CNE profile and work attestation during submission
• Provide 2 professional references at submission
• Adhere to onboarding and credentialing processes and policies
• Support census needs as primary placement reason

Job Title: PCU
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 - $74/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PCU for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PCU:

• Maintain current and valid state licensure verified through Nursys and License/Certificate Verification
• Complete CNE Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Complete CNE Specialty Competency Exam as part of onboarding requirements
• Complete CNE Basic EKG Exam as part of onboarding requirements
• Complete CNE Pharmacology Exam as part of onboarding requirements
• Complete CNE Core Competencies as part of onboarding requirements
• Hold or obtain a BSN degree
• Maintain up-to-date immunization records including COVID-19 Vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete and maintain current Fit Test documentation
• Provide 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot) TB testing documentation
• Provide 2 professional references at time of submission
• Complete and submit CNE Profile at time of submission
• Complete CNE Work Attestation at time of submission
• Comply with criminal background check requirements
• Complete CNE First Look orientation packet prior to start
• Sign and submit CNE Non-Employee Confidentiality Agreement
• Complete CNE Employment Verification documentation
• Adhere to CNE Covid and Flu Policy as outlined in CNE Form
• Complete and submit CNE Confirmation of Assignment
• Provide CNE Badge Photo for identification purposes
• Submit CNE Occupational Health Request for Clearance Form
• Complete RI Fingerprinting (RN Only) as required for onboarding
• Maintain a valid Driver's License or State ID
• Support increased census demands as the primary reason for placement
