Job summary

Mercy Hospital South offers the Win From Within program to support nursing students with tuition assistance and a pathway to professional practice. It provides up to $10,000 per year for one year of prerequisites and two years of the nursing program, including tuition, books, fees, and more.

Participants work at least 16 hours per pay period in a hospital-based Patient Care Associate or Nurse Tech role and sign a contract to work 1–3 years after graduation, depending on funding.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in nursing prerequisites, or actively enrolled in a nursing program at a participating school (RN & LPN).
• Must submit: Letter of Recommendation, unofficial transcript (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Work a minimum of 16 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks) in a Patient Care Associate, Nurse Tech, or similar role (hospital-based).
• Sign a contract agreeing to work 1–3 years at Mercy South after graduation (depending on years funded).
