Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is recruiting an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Clarkston, WA. You will perform circulating and/or scrub nurse duties and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires a WA RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications, plus ability to work 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, five days a week. Temporary contract with potential extension and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families
• Supervise assigned team members
• Render nursing care to all patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards
• Provide care for patients in the operating room as a circulating and/or scrub nurse
• Serve as a teacher to ensure safe and therapeutically effective nursing care
• Maintain the work area
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage
• Utilize nursing assessment skills including recognizing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Maintain current Washington State or MultiState RN license
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
• Maintain current ACLS and PALS certifications

Pay Rate: $68 - $74/hr

Responsibilities for a OR:
