Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (LVN or RN) in Dallas, TX to oversee and administer Nursing Services in line with state and federal regulations. The role acts for the Director of Nursing in their absence and leads clinical operations with emphasis on quality, safety, and resident-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license in Texas, possess an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, and bring at least five years of long-term or acute

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care; at least 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plans for the total care of each resident which comply with physician’s orders, governmental regulations and facility resident care policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitors staff practices and implementation.
• Participates in all admissions decisions, and may visit prospective residents before admissions, as needed.
• Participates in daily and weekly management team meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or resident complaints or concerns.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care and nursing supervision as evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage, absence of odors, general cleanliness, prevention of pressure wounds, and maintenance of resident function.
