Job summary

Coral West Community Hospital is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee the Nursing Department and provide supervisory coverage across patient care areas. You will liaison with nurse leaders and department direction, ensuring adherence to policies and patient care standards.

This role involves staffing, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and responding to codes to ensure safe, high-quality patient care; requires Florida RN license, CPR, ACLS, and at least one year of supervisory

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of Nursing.
• Minimum of one-year supervisory experience.
• Current State of Florida nursing license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Nursing Department and provide supervisory coverage for patient care.
• Staffing patient assignments and coordinating with healthcare professionals to meet care standards.
• Respond to Code Blues and coordinate patient transfers.
• Investigate patient/family/physician concerns and initiate corrective actions.
• Act as liaison between nursing and other departments to ensure efficient operation.
• Document incidents and ensure adherence to patient rights and hospital policies.
• Promote the hospital's mission, vision, and values.
• Participate in department quality assurance and risk management activities.
