Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in a hospital nurse management position.
• Master’s degree or working towards completion.
• CRRN certification within three years of hire or rehabilitation nursing experience.
• Current state Registered Nurse license required. BLS, ACLS (TX) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Directs nursing department operations in accordance with policies and standards.
• Oversees staffing, retention, and professional development of the nursing team.
• Develops and implements nursing policies and procedures.
• Prepares annual capital and operating budget for nursing.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to improve care quality.
• Coordinates with infection prevention and safety standards.
