Job summary

ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital Lakeshore seeks a Director of Nursing Operations to lead our nursing department, driving high-quality patient care and operational excellence in a hospital setting.

You will oversee staffing, development, and budgets, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians and partners to advance care quality while maintaining safety and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in a hospital nurse management position.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• CRRN certification within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates nursing policies and procedures.
• Directs nursing department functions and staffing.
• Oversees staffing, retention, and development.
• Mentors team; communicates policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with physicians and community partners to improve services.
• Prepares annual nursing budget and monitors expenses.
• Drives performance improvement with data analysis.
• Coordinates patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participates in senior leadership meetings.
• Resolves issues and deficiencies; supports direct patient care during peak times.
• Ensures safety and infection prevention standards.
