Job summary

Presbyterian Health Services' Lincoln County Medical Center in New Mexico is seeking an Administrative Nursing Supervisor to provide hospital-wide clinical and operational leadership during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

The role coordinates patient flow, supports nursing and interdisciplinary teams, and serves as a key resource for caregivers, patients, and families, with a focus on elevated care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates of Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• NM licensed RN or out of state compact multistate RN.
• 5 years of relevant experience (acute care-tele or above) and/or leadership nursing experience.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a clinical resource agent to nursing units and allied health departments for problem solving, within a given shift.
• Coordinates, prioritizes, and optimizes patient flow activities across the hospital and with non-PHS facilities.
• Evaluates the patient with the care team to determine level of care/patient placement.
• Provides and supports oversight of staffing resources in coordination with department leadership.
• Ensures a visible leadership presence throughout the facility and shift.
• Responds to codes and events; serves as a leadership resource for policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Resolves team member, patient, family, and provider concerns with appropriate follow-up.
• Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
