Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood is seeking a Nursing Operations Manager to oversee Nursing Administration, including house supervisors and the float pool. This full-time leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, safety, and efficient operational oversight within an inpatient unit environment.

The NOM will guide patient care delivery, support staff development, and drive improvements aligned with hospital goals.

Qualifications

• BSN from an approved nursing program is required.
• Current RN license in Alabama or Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National leadership certification (ANCC or AONL) within 2 years may be required.
• Minimum two (2) years as RN in acute care and minimum one (1) year of leadership experience.
• Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing administration, including house supervisors and float pool.
• Plans, directs, and evaluates delivery of patient care to achieve desired outcomes.
• Promotes patient and staff safety and quality outcomes.
• Leads change initiatives and supports process improvements.
• Manages unit budgeting and cost-effective operations.
