Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking an experienced nursing manager to lead multi-department operations, oversee staffing, budgets, scheduling, and regulatory compliance. You will guide onboarding and professional development for RNs and support staff, and drive continual survey readiness.

Responsibilities include budgeting, cost containment, policy enforcement, quality assurance, and staff coaching in leadership, delegation, and conflict resolution, while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 3–5 years clinical experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry.
• 2 years management experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Arizona; CPR required; ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Patient care management according to standards, monitoring effectiveness and performance.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor variances, assist with payroll data entry.
• Interview, hire, orient and train new staff in collaboration with nursing management.
• Ensure policy adherence, regulatory readiness, and department cost containment.
• Lead staff meetings, supervise scheduling, and coach staff in leadership skills.
