Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit. The role involves coordinating care plans with other disciplines and supervising teammates to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will assess, plan, and delegate using independent judgment, while evaluating nursing practices and patient outcomes. The position requires a nursing degree and AZ RN license, with ACLS/PALS per department as applicable.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional high pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and on an ongoing basis.
• Determines nursing diagnosis based upon patient assessment and data analysis.
• Sets practical, realistic and appropriate patient population specific outcome goals; guides patient and family.
• Individualizes the patient’s plan of care based on patient needs and circumstances.
• Implements nursing and medical orders and monitors status for appropriateness.
• Other tasks assigned at the hospital.
